First Call: Antonio Brown mocks himself with video of weightlifting accident
Friday’s “First Call” pays a visit to a familiar destination.
Antonio Brown’s Twitter account.
In an effort to maintain his self-titled nickname of “Mr. Big Chest,” the former Steelers receiver may have earned another.
Mr. Big Headache.
Actually, come to think of it, he has earned that nickname already, hasn’t he?
But I’m sure that’s what Brown was feeling after this weightlifting accident.
I know. I know. He could’ve been seriously hurt. I shouldn’t laugh.
To his credit, A.B. posted the video himself and joked that the weight machine “hit harder than Vontaze Burfict.”
For a guy who once screamed “KARMA!” after JuJu Smith-Schuster laid out Burfict with a block, maybe this was karma getting back at Brown.
And who am I kidding? I probably would’ve laughed regardless. And based on the Twitter responses I saw, most of you would’ve, too.
Definitely Ben’s fault

Maybe it’ll knock some sense into him! #HereWeGo #Steelers

In typical A.B. fashion, Brown said we shouldn’t be laughing at the video. Instead we should be focusing on how much weight he was benching.
Don’t talk about me getting hit talk about me hitting this 315 you see how this world work pic.twitter.com/AvgEARUQjr

Impressive, Antonio.
Your chest may now actually be almost as big as your ego.
