Before their upcoming battle against the Steelers Thursday night, the Cleveland Browns may have helped their foes from Pittsburgh.
And many others in the AFC, too.
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens look dominant. Robert Morris is quite a turnaround story. And LSU taunts Alabama.
Bills beatdownAs everyone in Pittsburgh gets ready to root against the Cleveland Browns Thursday night, they may want to take a moment to thank them for their win over the Buffalo Bills.
Cleveland beat Buffalo 19-16 Sunday. That dropped the Bills to 6-3 and brought them closer to the wild-card pack.

As of now Buffalo holds the fifth playoff spot, and the Steelers (5-4) are tied with Oakland and Indianapolis for sixth. But the Steelers currently own tiebreakers over both teams.
Cleveland is two back at 3-6.
Spin cycleBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson made himself into a video game Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
First of all, there were his numbers. They look like an expert player who navigated a game on the novice level.
He had a perfect 158.3 rating on 15-for-17 throwing. He went for 223 yards and three touchdowns without an interception.
Plus, Jackson had a 47-yard touchdown rush that was a thing of beauty.

The Ravens are now 7-2, atop the AFC North after clubbing the Bengals 49-13. They are currently in position for a bye, one game behind the Patriots for the top spot in the AFC.
Baltimore has a key battle against the Houston Texans next Sunday. Houston is currently a game back of the Ravens in the AFC standings at 6-3.
Taunting TigersThe highlight of the college football weekend was No. 2 LSU beating No. 3 Alabama 46-41 in Tuscaloosa.
In Antonio Brown-esque fashion, someone live-streamed head coach Ed Orgeron’s postgame speech. And let’s just say it was “off color.”
After the win, some of the Tigers ran up to the Alabama recruiting sections and tried to steal the Crimson Tide’s potential players.
After ruining Alabama’s CFP hopes, LSU went over to their recruiting section to tell a bunch of high schoolers it’s time to reconsider where they should play college ball.College football. The land of pettiness. pic.twitter.com/pftMEl8KeU

No word yet if any of the recruits have switched their allegiances.
Congrats ColonialsThe stunning surprise season of the Robert Morris Colonials continued in Moon Township this weekend.
They beat Duquesne 41-21 for the school’s first win over its local rival since 2012. RMU is now 5-0 in the NEC, tied with Central Connecticut State for first place. Those two teams play each other next Saturday.
Tight end Matt Gonzalez is part of the reason why. He leads the team with 30 catches, 519 yards and four touchdowns.
None were better than this grab Saturday.

They even pulled off a trick onside kick via this play from Nick Bisceglia.

RMU was 0-6 in conference play each of the last two years. They are 5-0 this season.
