Farmer, ranked as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and 247 Sports, amassed 1,751 receiving yards as a freshman at sophomore at Trinity Episcopal Academy. He transferred to Cocoa High School prior to the 2022 season and caught 63 passes for 938 yards and 10 touchdowns on a 6-foot, 166-pound frame.
Rivals ranks Farmer as the 156th overall prospect (23rd wide receiver) in the U.S., and 37th among all juniors in Florida. He has 14 scholarship offers from Power 5 schools, including Penn State, West Virginia, Virginia, Purdue, Michigan State and Miami.
Farmer is the second four-star from the class of 2024 to verbally commit to Pitt. Philadelphia defensive tackle Jahsear Whittington (6-foot-2, 255 pounds) has been verbally committed since April 18.
