Coach Bernard Clark Jr. and the Colonials were 0-11 last season.

Having gone winless (0-11) last season, the Robert Morris Colonials are eyeing a rebound in 2023 in their sixth season under coach Bernard Clark.

This fall will mark a new chapter for the Colonials football program, as it is the first year of a joint association between the Big South and Ohio Valley conferences.

The 10 members of both leagues will play a conference slate of six games against one another. Robert Morris, entering year three within the Big South, is set to play five nonconference games, as well.

The Colonials begin their season on the road in Colorado Springs, Colo., to take on Air Force. On Sept. 9, Saint Francis visits Joe Walton Stadium in Moon for the Colonials’ home-opener.

Robert Morris then plays Youngstown State (Sept. 16) on the road, followed by Lynchburg (Sept. 23) and Howard (Sept. 30) at home to complete nonconference play.

That leads into the start of league play, beginning with back-to-back road games at Gardner-Webb (Oct. 7) and Bryant (Oct. 14).

Following their bye, the Colonials return home to play Tennessee Tech on Oct. 28 before traveling to Southeast Missouri on Nov. 4.

Robert Morris’ two final regular-season games will be at home: Charleston Southern on Nov. 11 and Eastern Illinois on Nov. 18.
