Former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Vinnie Hinostroza has signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Nashville Predators.

The deal carries a salary cap hit of $775,000.

An unrestricted free agent signing by the Penguins in July of 2023, Hinostroza appeared in 14 NHL games for the team last season and posted three points (one goal, two assists) while averaging 9:45 of ice time.

A right-handed shot, the 30-year-old Hinostroza predominantly spent most of 2023-24 with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL). Serving as an alternate captain with that team, Hinostroza scored 35 points (16 goals, 19 assists) in 42 AHL games.

Hinostroza just completed a one-year, two-way contract with the Penguins that carried a salary cap hit of $775,000.
