An expected top-10 clash between Penn State and Ohio State has now been assigned a start time.

The Lions and Buckeyes will meet in primetime on Oct. 31 at Beaver Stadium. ABC will televise the Big Ten East showdown starting at 7:30 p.m, according to the conference. The game will be nationally televised.

Only family members will be allowed at the 107,000-seat venue and at every conference stadium this fall, and so what is usually a ‘Whiteout’ game will instead feature a much different atmosphere because of the coronavirus pandemic. A point spread has not yet been announced, but head coach Ryan Day’s team, which opens at Nebraska this Saturday while James Franklin’s team visits Indiana, should be the favorite.

All-time, Ohio State is 20-14 against PSU, and the Buckeyes are on a three-game winning streak against the Lions.
