A game-worn Jack Lambert jersey from the 1977 season is the highlight of Steelers memorabilia being auctioned on Lelands.com as part of its Spring Classic 2020 Collection.

Jack Lambert rarely has attended team functions since his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990, and his reclusive nature has contributed to a rising interest in his memorabilia from an 11-year career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Famed auction house Lelands.com has secured a game-used 1977 white road jersey worn by Lambert, and it has proven to be the headliner among 34 Steelers-related items being auctioned off as part of the site’s spring classic collection.

The Lambert jersey already has received six bids with a current high of $16,105, easily making it the most attractive item in the Steelers collection. The jersey was photo-matched by the Steelers to footage from the 1977 season, and the jersey includes a dozen team repairs.

The auction began May 17 and runs through June 19 at 11 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers memorabilia will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.

Another popular item up for auction is a game-used jersey worn by recent Hall of Fame member Troy Polamalu from the 2004 season. The white road jersey was photo-matched to four games from that season. It has a high bid of $8,052.

Other items that have drawn interest include a 1976 Mel Blount jersey ($6,655 bid), a 1974 John Stallworth jersey ($5,845), a 1992 Rod Woodson jersey ($4,392) and a 2001 jersey worn by Hall of Fame running back Jerome Bettis when he surpassed 10,000 career rushing yards. That jersey is going for $4,831.

Non-jersey items include a Super Bowl XLIII six-time champions watch, a throwback helmet worn by Brett Keisel from 2007-11, and four game balls presented to Hall of Fame linebacker Jack Ham.
