A pair of high school seniors appear headed to Duquesne next season to play men’s basketball for the Dukes.

Separate Instagram posts indicate that 6-foot-4 guard Jackson Williams, from Geneva (Ohio) Spire Academy, and 6-11 Greek-born center Dimitrios Ntapsis, from Ontario (Calif.) Veritas Academy, have become Duquesne coach Dru Joyce III’s first commitments for the 2026-27 season.

Both players recently made official campus visits.

Spire Academy posted that “Jackson was sought after by many schools because of his ability to serve as a playmaker/scorer while still being team-focused. … He will be an immediate impact player for (Duquesne).”

Ntapsis served this summer as the starting center for the FIBA U18 EuroBasket. His agent, Tom Angelakis, confirmed Ntapsis’ commitment to online outlet DraftExpress.
