Pitt’s Khameron Davis scores over Maryland Eastern Shore’s AJ Cheeseman in the first half Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 at Petersen Events Center.

Khameron Davis will transfer from the Pitt basketball program, university officials announced Monday.

The 6-foot-4 sophomore guard from Denver averaged 2.5 points and 2.2 rebounds a game this past season, and averaged 3.3 points and 2.6 rebounds while shooting 35 percent (35 of 100) on 3-pointers in 58 games over two seasons. He made 23 starts as a freshman.

Only two of the seven players recruited by Kevin Stallings remain with the Panthers, forwards Terrell Brown and Samson George. Pitt has three scholarships available.
