Hempfield grad Katie Miller receives postseason honor
Another successful summer on the amateur golf circuit earned Katie Miller more postseason recognition.
For the second time in three years, the Hempfield and North Carolina alum was named to the Global Golf Post All-Am Team.
She was added to the publication’s Mid-Amateur Team.
Miller, a Jeannette native, made the quarterfinals of the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur and won the Women’s Golf Association of Western Pennsylvania Championship. A former mini-tour professional who regained her amateur status in 2014, Miller reached the quarterfinals of the Pennsylvania Women’s Amateur in her bid to win a fourth state am title.
