Aliquippa’s Zuriah Fisher eyes Sharon’s Jordan Wilson for a tackle during the 3A PIAA semifinal Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at Milhalik-Thompson .

On the eve of commitment day, Aliquippa linebacker Zuriah Fisher decided to postpone his decision.

“Due to the process being a bit overwhelming for me I’ll be pushing my commitment date back,” Fisher wrote Sunday night on Twitter.

The three-star recruit had initially said he’d commit Aug. 5. He lists nearly two dozen FBS offers with his most recent coming from from Texas A&M.

He also has Pitt, Penn State and West Virginia, along with Ball State, Boston College, Bowling Green, Indiana, Kent State, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, N.C. State, Ohio, Purdue, Temple, Toledo, Syracuse, UMass and Virginia Tech.

Rivals ranks Fisher (6-3, 220) as the 10th-best prospect in Pennsylvania from the 2020 graduating class. He was Aliquippa’s second-leading tackler last season with 43 solo tackles and 29 assisted as the Quips won WPIAL and PIAA titles.

Fisher was recognized last week as a TribLive HSSN Preseason All-Star at Kennywood Park.

Due to the process being a bit overwhelming for me I’ll be pushing my commitment date back thank you everybody god bless??
