Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher high-fives Hines Ward after their team won Super Bowl XL. Each man will be formally inducted into the Steelers Hall of Honor this weekend, along with Elbie Nickel and Larry Brown.

The two days leading into Monday night’s game represents the third annual Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Honor induction ceremony.

This year’s class includes 1970s offensive tackle Larry Brown, former head coach Bill Cowher, franchise career receptions leader Hines Ward and post-World War II tight end Elbie Nickel.

The formal induction ceremony is Sunday evening at Heinz Field; the 2019 class also will be honored at halftime of the following day’s Steelers game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

“Looking forward to honoring those guys,” coach Mike Tomlin said, “and the best way to honor those guys is with a winning performance.”
