The Penguins are facing playoff elimination in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals Tuesday night against the Islanders.

Puck-drop is 7:30 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena. Penguins Radio network host Brian Metzer isn’t sounding too optimistic about the club staying alive in our weekly Sided.co hockey podcast.

He’ll tell us why he is so down on the Penguins’ chances of digging themselves out of this hole.

LISTEN: How long can the Penguins stay alive?

Metzer has a good point about why the team seems off-track mentally. That’s a big issue on top of the fact that this is a group that is physically struggling to score.

I have a plan for how the Penguins can mount a comeback. I’ll try to sell Metz on why it makes sense.

Also, we talk about Penguins who may play their last game in Black and Gold. Metzer names at least three popular Stanley Cup winners who may leave.

And we dive into what the Penguins can do to test that stingy Islanders defense.
