How to get tickets for Sun Bowl, Rose Bowl

Pitt and Penn State fans who want to head west for their respective team’s bowl games still have a chance to do so.

Here’s how to get tickets:

Sun Bowl

Pitt (7-4) vs. UCLA (8-3)

2 p.m. Dec. 30 in El Paso, Texas

• Pitt ticket holders can submit ticket requests through noon Thursday. Fans will receive confirmation of their order. Requests will be filled in order of Panther Club Priority Point ranking. Quantities may be limited based on demand.

Bowl ticket orders will be processed by Monday (Dec. 12).

• Individual ticket prices range from $22 in the end zone to $800 in the Indoor Club.

• Packages also are available by calling 915-533-4416 or via email at ticket@sunbowl.org.

Rose Bowl

Penn State (7-2) vs. Utah (7-2)

5 p.m. Jan. 2 in Pasadena, Calif.

• Eligible season ticket holders, Nittany Lion Club Members and Student Nittany Lion Club members had pre-sale opportunities Monday.

• Online sale for Penn State students (maximum two each) runs through 5 p.m. Tuesday, pending availability.

• Online pre-sale requests for Alumni Association Members run from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, pending availability.

• Sale for general public begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, pending availability.

• If any tickets from Penn State’s allotment remain available after the Nittany Lion Club, football season ticket holders, Student Nittany Lion Club and student ticket pre-sale, Penn State Alumni Association members will be sent an email with the ability to purchase bowl game tickets when their pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, via a link that will be sent through the Alumni Association.
