Major League Baseball is coming back! In real life.

We think.

So that means it’s coming back for fantasy sports players as well. Jeff Erickson of RotoWire joins us to discuss if he’s seeing many leagues canceling because there is only going to be a 60-game season.

For those that do play, some rules that are attempting to make roster management easier on organizations may end up making decisions more difficult for fantasy owners.

The covid-specific disabled list is going to be a huge factor. So are the taxi squads. We also discuss how the retention of the three-batter rule comes into play now more than ever.

Because of the extra-inning rules involving the predetermined runner on second base, you may see teams make bench decisions differently.

Then there’s the issue of National League teams using a designated hitter. There’s no obvious answer for the Pirates, unless they just want to give the job to Josh Bell or Colin Moran. That potentially could give playing time to Will Craig, Jose Osuna or Ke’Bryan Hayes as options on the infield corners.

On the football front, we look at those rumors surrounding Antonio Brown going to either Seattle or Baltimore. Jeff gives his opinion on which destination seems more likely.

The Hall of Fame game is scrapped. I’ll tell you why that’s more important to the Dallas Cowboys than it is to the Steelers.

And Aaron Donald is still talking about getting goal line touches for the Los Angeles Rams. Jeff tells us why there may be more fire to that smoke than we think and what that does to Donald for IDP league rankings.

All that plus talk about what may happen with the Toronto Blue Jays, the emergency ability for MLB to move entire franchises this year, and the impact that paternity leave could have on your team as well.
