In 1 day, Antonio Brown was released, trashed his ex-coach, posted his bank account info, wound up in the tabloids

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown wipes his face as he leaves the field after throwing his equipment into the stands during the third quarter against the New York Jets on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, in East Rutherford, N.J.

Former Steelers All-Pro Antonio Brown is now officially a former Tampa Buccaneer, too.

Tampa Bay terminated his contract Thursday in the wake of Brown’s decision to storm off the sideline shirtless during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Within their press release announcing the move, the Bucs countered Brown’s claims that he left the game because Bruce Arians cut him on the spot after the receiver informed his coach that he was too injured to play.

Brown was actively defending himself on social media throughout the day, releasing a text conversation with someone he claims was Arians. In the dialogue, Brown appears to lay the foundation that he may have been too hurt to play.

Arians didn’t refute the texts. But he did refute the allegation that Brown was upset over an injury. Instead, Arians insists Brown was displeased about a lack of targets.

Brown also posted an exchange with Alex Guerrero, a trainer former teammate Tom Brady has famously relied on for treatment. In it, Brown said he’d like to stop working with Guerrero and requested some of his down payment back. Guerrero appears to graciously acquiesce to Brown’s request.

Yet Brown seemed to misinterpret Guerrero’s reply as if Guerrero was saying he wouldn’t return the money.

So Brown tried to put Guerriero on blast via social media. The problem was, Brown accidentally included his response to Guerrero which included a screen grab of his bank routing info.

Brown subsequently deleted the tweet. Did he do so in time before someone hacked the “Super Gremlin” checking account?

Who knows? Maybe one of the chefs he has allegedly stiffed for payment over the years can use that information to get the money they are owed.

But wait, there’s more!

An OnlyFans lingerie model named Ava Louise — who became best known for licking an airplane toilet in hopes of catching coronavirus (yes, it’s 2022, you read that sentence correctly) — told the Daily Mail that she had a late night sexual encounter with Brown at Tampa Bay’s team hotel the night before the game against the Jets.

She provided alleged voice notes, text exchanges and photos of the hotel floor the Buccaneers were staying on in New Jersey.

In her interview, she claims to have slipped by security on the floor to avoid Brown getting in trouble for breaking league covid protocols.

During the reported tryst, Louise claims that Brown badmouthed NFL protocols and inferred that he hinted at the sideline behavior that was about to come by saying. “Watch what I do tomorrow.”

Brown has yet to respond to that story. The league was asked if they are looking into the matter to see if Brown violated coronavirus prevention protocols. The NFL has yet to issue a comment.

As incredibly strange, twisted and convoluted as all of this may be, it’s all about Antonio Brown. So are any of us really surprised?

Who wants to take bets he winds up in the new USFL. Say, maybe, with the rebooted Pittsburgh Maulers?

Oh (sigh)… if only this column could get so lucky.
