The uncertainty and turmoil seemingly surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers right now isn’t affecting their chances to win next year’s Super Bowl. At least, that’s what the bookmakers at BetOnline.ag say.
The site released its early odds to win Super Bowl LIV, to be played in February 2020 in South Florida. The four teams playing in Sunday’s conference championship games for this season join the Chicago Bears among the top five in odds to win next season’s Super Bowl.
But after those five (the Kansas City Chiefs, 7-to-1; Los Angeles Rams, 8-to-1; New Orleans Saints, 8-to-1; Chicago, 10-to-1; and New England Patriots, 10-to-1), only the Los Angeles Chargers (14-to-1) and Green Bay Packers (16-to-1) have better odds than the Steelers.
The Steelers join the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles at 18-to-1. Like the Steelers, the Vikings and Packers did not qualify for this season’s playoffs. The Eagles won last year’s Super Bowl.
The longest shot on the board? The Miami Dolphins at 100-to-1. Division rivals Cleveland Browns (25-to-1), Baltimore Ravens (33-to-1) and Cincinnati Bengals (66-to-1) all trail the Steelers.
