The Indiana University of Pennsylvania men’s basketball team is undefeated through five games, and it moved up two spots to No. 6 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II poll released Tuesday afternoon.

IUP is the only Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference team ranked in this week’s poll.

The Crimson Hawks also sit at the top of the Atlantic Region.

They opened conference play with wins over Bloomsburg, 88-73, and East Stroudsburg, 80-56, on Saturday and Sunday.

The top three teams remained the same. Northwest Missouri State (6-0) stays at No. 1, followed by Nova Southeastern (3-0) at No. 2 and Belarmine (4-0) at No. 3.

UC San Diego (6-0) moved up one spot to No. 4, and West Texas A&M (6-0) is at No. 5.

IUP returns to action Saturday. It will host Felician (N.J.) at 3 p.m.
