The Pittsburgh Steelers moved one step closer to getting their starting running back and left guard back in the lineup Thursday against the Cleveland Browns.
James Conner and Ramon Foster were full participants Tuesday when the Steelers conducted their only practice of the week in advance of the prime-time matchup at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Conner sat out the past two games with a shoulder injury. Foster also missed those two games with a concussion.
If Foster starts, Matt Feiler will move back to right tackle after replacing Foster on the interior of the offensive line Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.
Outside linebackers Anthony Chickillo (ribs) and Ola Adeniyi (hip) each were limited participants in practice. They are the only two backups on the 53-man roster. Ryan Switzer (back), who also did not finish the game against the Rams, did not practice.
Fullback Roosevelt Nix (knee) and running back Benny Snell (knee) did not practice, and center Maurkice Pouncey was given the day off.
