Former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jaromir Jagr practiced with current members of the team in Cranberry on Saturday morning.

His participation was part of a celebration of his career with the franchise leading up to his iconic No. 68 being retired by the team on Sunday.

Jagr took to the ice in full gear and participated in the team’s drills. The 52-year-old, who is an active player in his native Czechia, even stickhandled through a few obstacles on the ice and then attacked a net, lasering one of his trademark wristers by the glove of backup goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic.

As a tribute, Nedeljkovic and defenseman Kris Letang wore mullet wigs on the ice similar to Jagr’s flamboyant hairstyle during the early stages of his career.

Following a messy divorce via a trade in 2001, Jagr has largely had a limited relationship with the team he became a superstar with during the 1990s.

He will be the third player to have his jersey retired by the franchise, joining forwards Michel Briere (No. 21) and Mario Lemieux (No. 66).
