James Conner missed another Pittsburgh Steelers practice Thursday, and he was joined on the sidelines by another former Pro Bowl player in Joe Haden. But Steve Nelson returned to practice, a signal he will in the regular-season finale at Baltimore.

Nelson practiced fully a day after he missed a session because of a groin injury. Haden, the Steelers’ other starting cornerback, sat out because of a foot injury, according to the injury report.

Haden spoke with reporters at length after the session. His injury is not considered serious nor is it expected to keep him from playing against the Ravens.

The same can’t be said for Conner, who will enter the final practice of the week Friday without having taken part in any session because of a quad injury suffered during Sunday’s loss at the New York Jets.
