Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joe Haden celebrates after making an interception against the Cleveland Browns during the second half of a game earlier this month.

Pittsburgh Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was a full participant in practice Thursday, a strong sign we will play Sunday against the New York Jets. Smith-Schuster has missed the past four games because of a knee injury but has practiced on consecutive days this week.

Tight end Vance McDonald also practiced on consecutive days as he attempts to emerge from concussion protocol after missing last week’s loss to the Buffalo Bills. McDonald practiced Wednesday and Thursday.

Veteran cornerback Joe Haden did not practice Thursday because of a foot injury. The severity of the injury is unknown, but Haden was seen walking unencumbered in the Steelers’ locker room and in apparent good spirits.

A day after special-teamer Artie Burns missed practice because of illness, Burns returned – but tight end Nick Vannett did not participate because of illness.
