JuJu Smith-Schuster misses another practice for Steelers with knee injury
Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster sat out another practice Thursday, his fifth in a row for the Pittsburgh Steelers since injuring his knee and sustaining a concussion Nov. 14 at Cleveland.
With the Steelers having just one more day of practice before the rematch against the Browns on Sunday at Heinz Field, it is increasingly likely that Smith-Schuster will miss his second consecutive game.
Smith-Schuster was removed from concussion protocol on Wednesday. He leads the Steelers with 38 catches for 524 yards and three touchdowns.
Running back James Conner, who has missed three of the past four games with a shoulder injury, returned to practice on a limited basis. Cornerback Artie Burns (knee) also was limited.
Left tackle Alejandro Villanueva (shoulder) was a full practice participant after being limited Wednesday. Guard Ramon Foster got a veteran day off.
