Looks like Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is jumping on Team Heinz in the ketchup controversy at Kennywood Park.

Photos from Saturday show fan-favorite Smith-Schuster at Kennywood with a Heinz Ketchup bottle.

Chuck Fallert, who shared the photos with the Tribune-Review, said that Smith-Schuster walked up to people in the Potato Patch area and asked who would like some real ketchup with your fries as he was holding a bottle of Heinz.

People gathered around the player and he poured the ketchup into small containers.

“Once the bottle was empty he told us to all get prepared for an awesome season and walked away,” Fallert said in a message. “The enthusiasm in the area for those few minutes was insane.”

Kennywood recently switched from Heinz to Hunt’s at the park. The change did not go unnoticed and a Change.org petition was launched last week in an effort to get the park to switch back to hometown favorite Heinz.

The petition has over 7,500 signatures.

Kennywood spokesman Nick Paradise responded to the petition last week and said negotiations with Heinz “just didn’t work out.” However, he doesn’t think that should stop anyone from having a great time at the park.

Smith-Schuster had a busy weekend; on Friday he attended the Chartiers Valley High School prom.
