Kickoff time, TV details announced for Pitt's home game vs. Notre Dame
In the first of three pivotal consecutive games to conclude the regular season, Pitt hosts No. 10 Notre Dame on Nov. 15 at Acrisure Stadium.
That contest will be a noon kickoff, televised nationally on ABC or ESPN, the ACC announced Monday.
The Panthers (7-2, 5-1 ACC) will head into that game following their second and final bye, having won five straight games.
Notre Dame (6-2) hosts Navy on Saturday before travelling to Pittsburgh.
Coach Pat Narduzzi has never beaten Notre Dame in four tries dating back to 2015.
Most recently, the Fighting Irish blew out Pitt, 58-7, on Oct. 28, 2023, in South Bend, Ind.
In 2020, Pitt fell 45-3 at home to Notre Dame, while Narduzzi lost closer ones to the Irish in 2018 (19-14) and 2015 (42-30).
Pitt is 21-49 all-time against the Irish in a series that dates to 1930.
