Lernerville Speedway's 2022 schedule announced
It looks to be another busy season ahead on the dirt track at Lernerville Speedway.
The 2022 schedule will include more Fab4 Revved Up and Marburger Farm Dairy events in addition to national and regional sanctioned events — the 16th annual Big River Steel Firecracker 100, the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup and the Commonwealth Clash.
The season will begin in March with the Test and Tune sessions March 18 and 25.
Opening night for the Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy divisions will be April 1. That includes races in the sprints, late models, modifieds and pro stocks.
That will be the first of 16 scheduled Fab4 Fridays.
The FloRacing All-Star Circuit of Champions will be April 29.
In addition, the United Late Model Series and Bicknell Racing Products Modified Tour will be held on the Action Track on May 13 and 20 as part of weekly Fab4 action.
Western PA Sprint Speedweek will be June 3, followed by Fan Appreciation Night and Holiday Races June 10 and the midseason championships June 17.
One of the highlights of the season will be held June 23-25 as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series debuts for the Firecracker 100 with a 50,000 prize for the winner.
The RUSH Late Model Touring Series also will offer a $20,000 prize for the Bill Emig Memorial race.
Another big-ticket event will be July 6 as the FloRacing All-Star Circuit of Champions returns for the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XXXI. A $25,000 prize awaits the winner.
The RUSH Summer Showcase is set for July 22 and will feature the RUSH family of divisions, plus the BOSS Sprints and Allegheny Sprint Tour.
Aug. 12 will be the Sprint Car Spectacular, and the ULMS Late Models will be in town Aug. 19.
The final Fab4 races will be Aug. 26 for Championship Night.
There also will be school bus, enduro and bike races July 2 and Sept. 10. The annual Commonwealth Clash is set for Sept. 17.
The Steel City Stampede will cap the season Oct. 13-15 with sprints, late models, modifieds and pro stocks as well as RUSH Late Model Touring Series, Sportsman Modifieds and Wingless Sprints.
