A unique opportunity awaits fans at PNC Park this week as the Pittsburgh Pirates host the Cincinnati Reds.

The Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is bringing its mobile museum to Pittsburgh Thursday through Saturday.

The exhibit, which will be located outside of PNC Park, allows fans to hold game-used bats from Roberto Clemente, Dave Parker and Al Oliver.

Fans also can witness live bat-making demonstrations, with “wood chips flying,” in addition to checking out large Pittsburgh and Cincinnati LEGO baseball caps.

The museum’s 5-foot baseball bat also will be outside PNC Park, as will a commemorative World Series bat from 1979 and a commemorative bat from Ken Griffey Jr.’s 600th home run.

“There is so much passion for the sport of baseball in Pittsburgh,” Deana Lockman, executive director of Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, said in a release. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring our mobile museum to amazing Pirates fans.”
