Mark Madden of 105.9 the X joins us from Las Vegas this week for “Madden Monday.” Since he is there, one of the topics we examine is if that city is truly ready for the Antonio Brown experience after the Raiders bolt from Oakland.

Then again, if any place is prepared for someone being his own one-man sideshow, it’s Vegas, right?

Mark and I go in depth on the Steelers’ second preseason game. We investigate the hope that Bud Dupree’s solid showing is a harbinger of things to come since he is in a contract year.

We also talk about Artie Burns and the play of the backup quarterbacks, and we look at some Pittsburgh rivals getting hyped up across the NFL.

Baseball-wise, Pirates general manager Neal Huntington seems to think that 2020 can be what 2013 was for this franchise.

I doubt that strongly. Listen to what Mark says.

Chris Archer’s option is an interesting dilemma. As is Clint Hurdle’s future with the franchise.

All that plus the soccer gender pay gap and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

So we’re pretty much all over the place as usual.
