The Pittsburgh Steelers are bringing out two of their Hall of Fame players for their annual summer fundraisers.

Mel Blount and Franco Harris will serve as honorary chairs of the Steelers Charity Walk and Steelers 5K race, respectively.

The charity walk, which will be held July 27 at Saint Vincent College, benefits the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research. As chair of the race, Blount will reflect on his playing career under Noll. It will take place at 10 a.m at the Fred Rogers Center on the college campus, 30 minutes prior to the charity walk.

Registration is available at steelers.com/charity walk.

Harris will chair the 31st annual 5K race, fitness walk and kids’ kickoff run on Sept. 2 at 8 a.m at Heinz Field. The race benefits the Art Rooney Scholarship Fund.

Registration for this event can be found at steelers.com/5k.
