Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger warms up with Diontae Johnson before a game against the Bengals Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020, at Heinz Field.

All four players that were removed from the reserve/covid-19 list for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday are active and will play against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Heinz Field.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, linebacker Vince Williams, tackle Jerald Hawkins and running back Jaylen Samuels will be in uniform. Roethlisberger and Williams will start at their respective positions.

Rookie running back Anthony McFarland, who missed two days of practice with an illness, is one of five players that was de-activated by the Steelers on Sunday. McFarland is not on the reserve/covid-19 list. The other players on the inactive list are third quarterback Joshua Dobbs, cornerback Mike Hilton, outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott and nose tackle Isaiah Buggs.

Hilton will miss his fourth game in a row because of a shoulder injury. He was limited in practice Thursday and Friday after being a full participant Wednesday for the first time since injury.

With Vance McDonald completing his first week on the reserve/covid-19 list following a positive test, second-year tight end Zach Gentry is active for the first time this season and will back up starter Eric Ebron.

Guard/tackle Derwin Gray and fullback Derek Watt also are active.

Buggs started in place of Tyson Alualu against the Dallas Cowboys, but he will sit against the Bengals because of an ankle injury. Alualu is back in the lineup after his one-game absence, and Henry Mondeaux and rookie Carlos Davis are the backups in the defensive line rotation.

The Bengals inactives are running back Joe Mixon, tackle Bobby Hart, guard Keaton Sutherland, defensive tackle Geno Atkins, cornerback LeShaun Sims and kicker Austin Seibert.

The Bengals also will be without four assistant coaches because of covid-19: wide receivers coach Bob Bicknell, inside linebackers coach Al Golden, secondary/cornerbacks coach Steve Jackson and senior defensive assistant Mark Duffner.
