Miles Sanders scores first career rushing touchdown for the Eagles
Miles Sanders arguably had his best game as a pro Sunday as the Philadelphia Eagles thumped the Buffalo Bills.
Sanders, formerly of Penn State and Woodland Hills, tore off a 65-yard run on the second snap from scrimmage in the third quarter to give the Eagles a 17-7 lead. He finished with three carries for 74 yards and caught 3 passes for 44 yards before leaving the game with an injury.
NFL Natwork’s Ian Rapoport tweeted the rookie will get an MRI on Monday.
“X-rays are cool,” Sanders told the Morning Call. “I don’t know anything else yet. I should be fine, hopefully.”
