Goaltender Casey DeSmith made 28 saves in regulation and overtime then stopped all three shootout chances he faced to lead the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 1-0 home win against the rival Hershey Bears at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday.

It was DeSmith’s second shutout of the season. Forward Stefan Noesen scored the lone goal in the shootout for the Penguins (8-5-1-1).

Highlights:

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s next game is at home against the Springfield Falcons on Friday.
