Minor league report: Goaltender Dustin Tokarski leads Penguins to 1st win

Goaltender Dustin Tokarski made 26 saves on 27 shots for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 2-1 home win against the Laval Rocket at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

Forwards Nathan Legare and Alex Nylander scored goals for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (1-0-1-0) in the team’s first win of the season.

Highlights:

The Penguins’ next game is a road contest against the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday, 7 p.m.

The Wheeling Nailers will open their season with a home game against the Toledo Walleye on Saturday, 7:10 p.m.
