Minor league report: Josh Maniscalco leads Nailers to overtime win

Penguins defensive prospect Josh Maniscalco had two goals, including one in overtime, and an assist for the Wheeling Nailers in a 5-4 home win against the Cincinnati Cyclones at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va. on Sunday.

Forwards Tim Doherty, Sean Josling and Patrick Watling each contributed a goal and an assist for Wheeling (22-18-1-0) while forward Brandon Saigeon recorded two assists. Goaltender Brody Claeys made 31 saves on 35 shots in the victory.

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the Kalamazoo Wings on Wednesday, 7 p.m.
