Minor league report: Justin Almeida, Will Reilly lead Nailers past Heartlanders

Forward Justin Almeida and defenseman Will Reilly, each Penguins prospects, both had two goals and an assist for the Wheeling Nailers in a 7-4 road win against the Iowa Heartlanders at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa on Friday.

Another Penguins prospect, goaltender Alex D’Orio, made 12 saves on 16 shots for Wheeling (7-6-0-0) while forward Cam Hausinger recorded three assists.

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the Heartlanders on Saturday, 8 p.m.
