Minor league report: Miletic, Warsofsky lead Penguins past Phantoms

Forward Sam Miletic and defenseman David Warsofsky each had a goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 2-1 home win against the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre.

Goaltender Dustin Tokarski made 31 saves for the Penguins (10-5-1-1) who won their fifth consecutive game.

The Penguins’ next game is on the road against the Springfield Falcons at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, Mass. on Friday, 7:05 p.m.

Goaltender Jordan Ruby made 27 saves for the Wheeling Nailers in a 1-0 overtime road loss to the Reading Royals at the Santander Arena in Reading.

The Nailers (5-5-2-0) next play at home against the Fort Wayne Komets at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling on Sunday, 4:05 p.m.
