Minor league report: Nailers beat Railers in overtime

A goal 49 seconds into overtime by forward Matt Koopman gave the Wheeling Nailers a 4-3 win against the Worcester Railers at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass. on Sunday.

Defenseman Chris Ortiz had a goal and three assists for Wheeling (26-8-2) while forward Matty De St. Phalle contributed a goal and two assists.

Goaltender Taylor Gauthier made 35 saves on 38 shots to improve his record to 6-4-0.

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a home contest against the Kansas City Mavericks on Friday, 7:10 p.m.
