Minor league report: Nailers conquered by Komets

Goaltender Jaxon Castor made 28 saves on 32 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 5-4 loss to the Fort Wayne Komets at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va. on Saturday.

The result dropped Castor’s record to 5-5-1.

Forwards Jordan Martel, Logan Pietila and Matthew Querica all scored goals for Wheeling (34-21-3-1).

The Nailers’ next game is a home contest against the Cincinnati Cyclones on Sunday, 4:10 p.m.
