Minor league report: Nailers dropped by Komets

Forward Justin Almeida had a goal and an assist for the Wheeling Nailers in a 7-3 road loss to the Fort Wayne Komets at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind. on Sunday.

Goaltender Brody Claeys made six saves on 10 shots to record the loss for Wheeling (32-27-3-0) while forwards Bobby Hampton and Sam Houde each contributed goals.

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the Komets on Wednesday, 7:30 p.m.
