Minor league report: Nailers fall in season opener

Forward Sean Josling had a goal and an assist for the Wheeling Nailers in a season-opening 4-3 road loss to the Fort Wayne Komets at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind. on Saturday.

Wheeling also got goals from forwards Nick Hutchinson and Patrick Watling while goaltender Joe Murdaca made 24 saves on 28 shots in the defeat.

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the Iowa Heartlanders on Wednesday, 8 p.m.
