Minor league report: Nailers fall to Royals

Goaltender Sergei Murashov made 18 saves on 21 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 4-1 loss to the Reading Royals at Santander Arena in Reading on Sunday.

The result dropped Murashov’s record to 1-1-0 while forward Mathieu De St. Phalle scored the lone goal for Wheeling (2-2-0-0).

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the Toledo Walleye on Friday, 7:15 p.m.
