Minor league report: Nailers' losing streak reaches 4 games

Goaltender Taylor Gauthier made 28 saves on 30 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 2-1 home loss to the Kalamazoo Wings at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va. on Sunday.

The result dropped Gauthier’s record to 9-11-1. Forward Lukas Svejkovsky scored the only goal for Wheeling (16-16-1-1) which has lost a season-worst four consecutive games.

The Nailers’ next game is a road game against the Iowa Heartlanders on Friday, 7:35 p.m.
