Minor league report: Nailers’ losing streak reaches 4

Goaltender Brad Barone made 21 saves on 25 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 4-3 road loss to the Cincinnati Cylcones at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on Sunday.

Defenseman Louie Roehl recorded two assists for Wheeling (26-36-5-0) which has lost four consecutive games. Nailers forwards Cédric Desruisseaux, Gianluca Esteves and Tanner Laderoute all scored goals.

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a home contest against the Iowa Heartlanders on Friday, 7:10 p.m.
