Minor league report: Nailers sink Admirals

A goal and two assists by forward Tanner Laderoute led the Wheeling Nailers to a 4-1 home win against the Norfolk Admrials at WesBanco Arena on Sunday.

Forwards Justin Adamo, Jordan Martel and Matthew Querica all contributed goals for Wheeling (15-11-1-1) while goaltender Jaxon Castro made 33 saves on 34 shots, improving his record to 2-1-0.

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the Orlando Solar Bears on Friday, 7 p.m.
