The Wheeling Nailers’ season came to an end with a 3-2 overtime home loss to the Toledo Walleye in Game 4 of the Central Division final at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va.

A goal by forward Riley Sawchuk at 5:37 of overtime allowed the Walleye to sweep the best-of-seven series, 4-0.

Nailers goaltender Taylor Gauthier, sidelined since March 16 due to an injury, returned to the lineup and made 33 saves on 36 shots in the defeat.
