Minor league report: Overtime goal by Owen Pickering gives Penguins comeback win
A goal by defenseman Owen Pickering at 4:36 of overtime gave the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins a 5-4 win against the Cleveland Monsters at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (26-11-4-0) came back from a 3-1 deficit in the first period and extended a winning streak to three games.
Penguins forward Sam Poulin scored the tying goal at 19:41 of the third period with an extra attacker to force overtime and also recorded two assists. Forward Joona Koppanen had a goal and an assist for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton while forwards Katchouk and Valtteri Puustinen each contributed two assists.
Goaltender Sergei Murashov made 29 saves on 33 shots and remained undefeated in the American Hockey League this season at 6-0-0.

The Penguins’ next game is a road contest against the rival Hershey Bears on Tuesday, 7 p.m.
A goal and an assist by forward Jordan Martel helped the Wheeling Nailers defeated the Reading Royals, 4-3, at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va.
Forwards Kyle Jackson, Gabe Klassen and Logan Pietila all contributed goals for Wheeling (30-12-2-0) while goaltender Jaxon Castor made 23 saves on 26 shots, improving his record to 4-3-1.
