Defenseman Jack Rathbone and forward Jagger Joshua each had a goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 6-3 home win against the Laval Rocket at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

Forwards Radim Zohorna and Austin Rueschhoff each recorded two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (27-16-6-1) while forwards Justin Addamo, Corey Andonovski, Maxime Cajkovic and Alex Nylander each contributed goals.

Goaltender Joel Bomqvist made 20 saves on 23 shots to improve his record to 16-7-4.

Highlights:

The Penguins’ next game is a home contest against the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Wednesday, 7:05 p.m.

Goaltender Jaxon Castor made 19 saves on 21 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 2-1 road loss to the Utah Grizzlies at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.

The result dropped his record to 6-3-0.

Forward Tanner Laderoute scored the lone goal for Wheeling (28-18-1-1) which has lost two consecutive games after trying a franchise mark with a 12-game winning streak earlier this month.

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the Grizzlies on Monday, 5:10 p.m.
