Goaltender Magnus Hellberg made 33 saves on 36 shots for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 4-1 road loss to the rival Hershey Bears at the Giant Center in Hershey on Wednesday.

The result dropped Hellberg’s record to 5-5-0 while forward Austin Rueschhoff scored the lone goal for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (15-11-3-0).

The Penguins’ next game is a home contest against the Charlotte Checkers on Friday, 7:05 p.m.


Goaltender Taylor Gauthier made 27 saves on 28 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 1-0 road loss to the Indy Fuel at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis.

The result dropped Gauthier’s record to 9-6-1. Wheeling (13-11-1-1) was shut out for the first time this season.

The Nailers’ next game is a home contest against the Norfolk Admirals on Saturday, 7:10 p.m.
