Minor league report: Penguins fall in overtime to Bruins
Forward Boris Katchouk had a goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Providence Bruins at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, R.I. on Sunday.
Goaltender Filip Larsson made 27 saves on 32 shots as his record fell to 8-4-3.
Forwards Emil Bemstrom and Rutger McGroarty as well as defenseman Colton Poolman all scored goals for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (28-13-6-1).
The Bruins overcame a 4-1 deficit in the first period and got a win when forward Georgii Merkulov scored at 4:59 of the overtime period.

The Penguins’ next game is a road contest against the Rochester Americans on Wednesday, 7:05 p.m.
Goaltender Taylor Gauthier made 19 saves on 22 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 3-2 loss to the Reading Royals at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va.
Gauthier returned to the lineup after missing six games due to an undisclosed injury and saw his record slip to 10-7-0.
Forwards David Jankowski and Matthew Quercia each scored goals for Wheeling (31-17-2-0).
