Goaltender Dustin Tokarski made six saves on eight shots for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, who completed a game suspended in October and suffered a 5-1 road loss to the Utica Comets on Tuesday at the Utica Memorial Auditorium in Utica, N.Y.

Originally started on Oct. 17, the contest was suspended with 2:43 remaining in the second period due to a power outage at the venue.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (19-14-2-3) resumed play on Tuesday trailing, 2-1, and surrendered three additional goals.

Defenseman Ty Smith, who was a healthy scratch for the Pittsburgh Penguins during a 7-6 home overtime win against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday, scored the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s Penguins’ only goal in the contest on Oct. 17.

Goaltender Filip Lindberg, who served as the backup on Tuesday, started the contest on Oct. 17, making 12 saves on 14 shots, and was charged with the loss.

The Penguins’ next game is at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at the Rochester Americans.
